CANCELLED GREATER PORTLAND HOARDING TASK FORCE ANNUAL CONFERENCE CANCELLED |
Unfortunately at this time the number of registrations are too low to move forward. Therefore, we must cancel the conference. Those who have sent in their registration and payment will be reimbursed the full registration fee. If you have any questions regarding reimbursement please contact Jill Silander at jsilander@shalomhouseinc.org. While this conference did not draw the interest we were expecting, Shalom House and the Greater Portland Hoarding Task Force will continue to provide our community with invaluable hoarding resources and trainings. We are already planning a smaller and less expensive seminar on hoarding for the fall. We will let you know more about this in the coming months. Our thanks go out to everyone who has worked on and expressed interest in the conference and the work the Task Force is doing. If you are interested in participating in the task force please contact Eric Grainger, egrainger@shalomhouseinc.org for more information or visit the Task Force website at www.hoardingme.org.

The Greater Portland Hoarding Task Force is a collaborative effort of numerous private and state agencies, government services, and community members concerned about the problem of hoarding in Maine. One of several such task forces nationwide, this group has been formed to improve the quality of life for those affected by hoarding through raising public awareness, increasing access to treatment, reducing the gaps in resources, educating service providers, and expanding the limited support options.
